Résidence Boîte Blanche à la Galerie Sans Nom mai 2022/ Étude sur le terrain volet 1- Fieldwork, phase 1.

Étude sur le terrain est un projet entamé en 2019. Ce projet découle d’objets personnels qui datent d’avant ma naissance jusqu’à ma vie de jeune adulte, rangés dans une boîte par ma mère. En parcourant ces objets, j’ai vite éprouvé un détachement face à la personne dans les photos et les messages. Ma résidence dans le cadre de Boîte Blanche à la Galerie Sans Nom sera une réflexion et une discussion sur des notions de l’identité telles que le lieu, le corps, la génétique, l’environnement et la mémoire. 

Ma résidence à la Galerie Sans Nom a servi d'un moment pour organiser et mettre en contexte les éléments cueillis dans le cadre du projet de recherche Étude sur le terrain.

Fieldwork is an ongoing project started in 2019. This project stems from a box of personal items my mother kept for me from before my birth to my young adult life. Browsing through these items, I felt disconnected from the person I was reading about and looking at. My residency as part of Boîte Blanche at Galerie Sans Nom will be an exploration and discussion of themes attached to notions of identity such as place, the body, genetics, environnement, and memory. 1. 

This residency provided the space and time to make order of the collected materials for a first showing of this ongoing project.
